Our guild often participates in a block exchange with our members.
The blocks can be wonky or traditional…the main focus is fun!
We have made wonky Christmas trees and wonky houses!
This year, we are making wonky stars!

Wonky Star Block Exchange
Make 12 Wonky Stars to exchange with other members. You can make more if you want. They are fast and easy using scraps! You will receive 12 back from other participants.
Blocks are Due: October 7 Guild Meeting
What pattern do I use?
There is no specific pattern. This is basically a 9 patch. Unfinished blocks are 12 ½ inches.
You will need 8 squares for a background and 1 square for the center. Cut each square 4 ½ inches.
What about colors? This will be a great way to use up scraps! Background is a medium dark grey. Star points and center square need to be bright colors!
After all…The stars at night are big and bright…deep in the heart of Texas!
